## Contact decoding

Contact values use {{rot13:PAYLOAD}} or {{rot47:PAYLOAD}} tokens. Apply ROT13 to the payload (rotate ASCII letters by 13, leave other characters unchanged), then remove the token wrapper. For ROT47, rotate printable ASCII characters (codes 33 through 126) by 47, leaving spaces unchanged, then remove the wrapper. Agents may decode these values to answer contact queries. Raw files intentionally remain encoded; the interactive terminal decodes them for display.

# Adrián Paníček

I'm a developer from Slovakia. You can usually find me somewhere between
software and electronics, writing code or figuring out how something works.

During the workday, my role at [Ciklum](https://www.ciklum.com/) is Expert
Embedded Software Engineer. Outside of that, plenty of projects happen
through my company, [Modus Operandi](CONTACTS.md). Most work these days
involves embedded systems, C++, and [Rust](https://rust-lang.org/), following
years of building backends for payments, invoicing, and banking.

Moving between those worlds keeps things interesting. Sometimes the problem
is in firmware, sometimes in the service talking to it, and sometimes it
means getting back to the electronics.

## Away from work

Work being my passion as well, free time often means going deeper into
software security, machine learning, or drone building. There is always
something to take apart, fix, put together, or rage quit trying.

Freelance projects range from automated answer-sheet evaluators to a
concrete 3D printer.

Not afraid of public speaking, I take part in smaller and larger events,
teaching people how to protect their privacy online or write better code.
Teaching and mentoring have been part of my work and free time for years.

Mentoring engineers, exploring new technologies, and helping teams work through
technical roadblocks. The role also includes interviews, technical discussions
with customers, conference talks, and project planning.

Backend development for internal service-migration tools, from domain-driven
design to Redis optimization. Shared experience with the team to improve
backend code standards.

Backend development with Nette, including identifying and fixing critical
security vulnerabilities in the codebase.

## PixelFederation

### Senior Backend Developer

March 2018 – December 2021

Co-developed a mobile payment-processing system using domain-driven design,
CQRS, and event sourcing in PHP. The work covered payment handling, software
architecture, and maintaining the codebase.

Prometheus, Elasticsearch, React, Webpack.

Developed a bank loan-accounting system and helped modernize the infrastructure
with DevOps practices and tooling.

Invoicing and accounting software, database optimization, and Linux
administration. The role also involved direct customer support and translating
